Data protection and processing

The protection of your privacy when processing personal data is very important to us. We process personal data collected when visiting our websites in accordance with legal requirements. Our website may contain links to web pages of other owners that are not covered by this one.

What is personal data?

According to the General Data Protection Regulation, data is personal if it is linked to an identified natural person or can be matched to a natural person such that that person can be identified from the data. This includes all information that allows inferences to be made about an individual (for example, first and last name, telephone number or email address).

Preparing usage data for web statistics

We want our web pages to be as attractive and user-friendly as possible. It is very useful to analyze usage statistics and collect various technical information about our visitors' browsers and computers.

For this reason, we use a web analytics program that uses cookies and JavaScript and automatically transmits pseudonymised usage data to us.

Personalized services (e.g. newsletter)

If the user decides to use any personalized service, the data required and entered by you is stored. Typically, such data is an email address, first and last name, as well as other data depending on the type of service offered. This information will be used only to provide the necessary proposal, taking into account all wishes and clarifying possible questions. If the user no longer wishes to use a personalized service, this data is deleted after deregistration if registration is required to use that service.

If the user wishes to unregister for any personalized service, the appropriate function provided on the website should be used to do so. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link at the end of the newsletter.

Contact forms

Your information that you enter in the contact form will be stored for the purpose of responding to your request and for analysis.

The stored data is used for analysis in connection with the operation of the portal. For this purpose, all data from the fields of contact forms, including the text of the message, is saved. The goal is to analyze the structure of requests, for example, to analyze the content of message texts. Your personal data will be processed only within the company and analysis data will not be transferred to third parties.

Your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, but no later than six months after receiving your request.

Social Media Integration

To make it easier for users to use social networks, the Federal Institute of Vocational Education uses solutions of its own development. However, third-party social network operators do not have access to the user’s IP address.

Right to information

The user has the right at any time to request information about the stored data relating to him, their origin and the purpose of storage. If requested, we inform the user in writing, in accordance with applicable law, whether we have stored his personal data and what data it is. If, despite our efforts, incorrect information has been stored, we will correct it at the user's request.

If you have questions on the topic of data protection, you can contact the Data Protection Officer of the Federal Institute of Vocational Education using the contact form or by calling +995 592 022 774.
